Sounds like it got all the dust out of the corners…should keep the teams garage nice and clean.

we're definitely not getting a full whack of sound with that clip. That clip is from a dyno room I'm sure with the exhaust well vented out of the building. Exhausts always sound quieter when in the room with their exhausts plugged a bit.

In all, it doesn't sound bad. As I said before, there's no way they're revving to 15k in that clip. I just hope they don't have to keep it that low due to fuel restrictions. 100kg of fuel in 2014 vs some 160kg we have now.

the intercooler placement is certainly interesting. I suppose that's the best place to put it?

The 60-70kg fuel difference will actually make for an interesting shift in setups for cars in general. Some cars are much quicker on lower loads than higher when compared to others. Strangely, MB is actually a perfect example of this.

    Now I´ve heard it. Wish I hadn´t, I don´t like it.

But that´s the way things are done today.

They'll be ok once it starts revving.

Hopefully that's also true..... [From Pitpass btw]

    Cheers,
    Ian

IMHO the sound sux. Sounds like an Indy car engine. Please! Please allow up to a 3.5 L motor naturaly aspirated 4,6,8,10,12 or whatever cylinders. Flat or V or whatever. No fuel restrictions or rpm restrictions.I really don't care for the indy car sound. GTS Bruce
