Anybody interested in my mechanics who are highly recommended list?

thanks for your efforts on this. a comprehensive list of this type will be invaluable when it's time to get a ppi done. hopefully it can be expanded.
I suggest adding The Black Horse Garage in Bridgeport, CT. The owner's name is John Buonanno. A long history of working on some exquisite Ferraris. Reliable, honest, love cars and car people. Regards, Frank
I'd be interested in the criteraia you have, before adding a name / information. Or do you add it because someone says " He's a godo guy " Maybe something like the Ferrari Owners section. X# Ferrari owners must comfirm XXXX shop + moderator or local ( to the shop ) FCA President sign off, etc. But I am all for it, I seem to get request for out of state referrals often! Steve- You must be a lawyer. If you want something like that, go for it, but not me. This list is of mechanics about whom I have only read and heard excellent reviews and seen multiple recommendations from Ferrari owners. When Ferrari owners ask for a recommendation for service near them, this list is what I use. If you want a formal vetted list, someone else will have to do it.
Terry, I am a little surprised you do not have them on your list given the high praise I've read as well as written about them for a few years now. I have had them handle many a job for my 575 and they have done nothing but flawless work. In addition I believe them to be of the highest integrity. Eric, the owner, loves the challenge of finding affordable solutions for those little shortcomings our cars were born with. Window regulator fix, kilometers to miles, sticky parts etc..... I would give them my highest recommendation!
Rick- I am going to add Eric Krukow and Frank and John Buonanno to the list. Have read multiple glowing reports on both shops.
I have never heard a bad thing about James Patterson at Norwood Performance in Dallas, that's 14 years I have personally known him and hundreds have used him without a single complaint. Honestly admirable you are trying to compile such a list, but I think more headache than worth that you've opened it up to feedback. maybe just best to post it as your personal list and don't take feedback. every shop in the world will get a few recommendations, when you start hearing a certain percentage or multiple negative feedbacks then I guess you should consider not having them on your list. I see at least one of those on your list, but again I will recommend this just be your personal list you share without feedback. tell people to take it or leave it.
Rob- Yup, that is what I have done. A couple have already been removed. All three mentioned in this thread have had multiple excellent recommendations and no bad reviews I have seen. If I have not heard of somebody, they do not go on the list, so it is just my list.
Terry, I tried for over a year and he just will not take any new customers. As it turned out it was the best thing for me ! I found Eric and The Auto Gallery. Also have PENSKE-WYNN in vegas. This was the last email from him, so being on your list will not really help. Just my 2 cents. Bill- Affirmative, just like doctors not taking new patients. This list is only of independents. Maybe we need one for the best mechanics at dealerships. I know Brian Crall really likes one of the FOA guys.
