It sounds like you need to seek out "Tom S." and do some horse trading, he'll know about the steering wheel too, I would think.

I believe the straight eared knockoffs are for the Campagnolo alloys and the angled ears are for Borranis.

For the steering wheel, post a photo.

Thanks for the follow up, amazing how many cars actually have wrong knockoffs, not that big a deal, but always good to know the difference.

On another note I recently took a fairly long drive in my 12cyl f car...radio delete, I cant agree more with those who posted why have a radio when you have a symphony playing under the hood...as a "Baby Boomer", I believe I am riding again....

Angled knock-offs are for Borrani wheels, straight for mag wheels. If you see mis-matches around, it is because owners changed the wheels and didn't bother (or know) to change the nuts. You will find it will not be an even trade going in the direction of the straight-eared variant, they are much harder to find now as they are no longer in production. The angled Borrani style can still be bought new.

Original wood-rimmed GTC steering wheels are not by Nardi, they are made by Momo. Feel the back side of the 6 o'clock spoke near the bottom (by the wheel join) and you will know if it is original or reproduction.

Chinetti (as the US Ferrari distributor) issued a service buletin to make this repair on 10/23/70. My 330 GTC is a later production model (10705) and already had the modification done by the factory.
