Just took the car off the market mate. Decided not to sell it. And in case you are wondering why you haven't seen the car on church day, it's cos it's currently stored at my place in East Coast as away for the month and don't want it unsheltered. Had an Evo 9. It's only fun at 8/10 and above. Below that it's just an econo box. The MX5 is great fun at so much lower speeds. At my age now the MX5 and 993 are my two most favorite cars to drive.

Hows the haze these days, guys? I am flying over for the weekend tomorrow and got a box of N95 with me...
Hi there I need some advices! Having owned an "entry level" Maserati QP model 2years ago and sold it because owning 2 sedans doesnt seem right even though Maserati QP was really a comfortable ride, spacious in the back for my kids. I am glad that I found a forum here which I assume are able to provide some information about the current market! I am really interested in getting a ride that can ferry my wife and 2 child around such that the whole family can enjoy the ride together. This narrows down to Maserati GT, FF, California, 612, Rapide. But because of the price, I would personally feel that it would be insane for me to get a ride more than 500K and Mrs. will definitely nag about it which she already did so when i bought the QP. Thus, options left would be a Maser GT or the 612 on the market quoted 498k. Anyone knows the history of the 612 on market? How would the maintenance of an 07' Scag cost? I assume the v12 gonna kill right? On the other hand, Maserati would do everything I wanted but Ferrari / Lamborghini is the dream. However, given the price of the Gallardos and F430 nowadays i am open to these two choices too! I've seen on sgcarmart the white G 08' was going at 328k :O. Based on the current market, i would hope to get one L/F/M car at lowest possible depreciation! Any advices??
The haze had gone since last Saturday. So far so good, hope it won't return when you touch ground tomorrow.

Hi Zync, As mentioned the 430 & G won't fit the family but with S$500K, you can have one of those & a regular family car. There's a reason why those cars you mentioned are so "cheap". #1 They're getting old, usually over 5years #2 Multiple owners #3 Higher insurance premiums So expect maintenance to be higher due to wear & tear while Ferrari has a simple warranty program that's complex to claim. In any case, buy a good one & enjoy it but a lemon will leave a bad taste. Since you already have a QP so you're already well exposed to the Italian brand & their workshop experience. Just set aside S$10K/year for general wear/tear except major components should be decent. The Gallardos have been very reliable & easy to maintain & most depreciation has been taken so you basically drive these cars till death @ 10th year mark for export.
Oops! Thank you! Just couldn't accept the rear of CLS. No offense but it looks Korean. Yup! Always giving in to temptations even the exorbitant running costs. Does Pre-purchase inspection applicable to local dealers? I read about conducting PPI in the US, UK. But not sure whether SG allows PPI? Am I right to conclude that Gs are more reliable than 430s? And what is the safe range of mileage to buy if i am prepared to own it for 2years?
