In South FL (Comcast) Friday: Practice (P2?) - Tape Delay Sat: Quali - Live Sun: Race - Tape Delay 2 out of 3 are delay... I can't find practice or the race live on NBC-SP, MSNBC, or CNBC. At least they are smart enough to know that Quali is the real show... BBC / Sky for me... Goodbye NBC.
Simon, Check Univision's schedule. You'll love how the announcers roll the "R"s when referencing Kimmy. Plus, none of the split-screen crap. Say hi to Amanda for me! Kevin
Fox/Speed speed the tape delay crap as well so I can't blame NBC too much. In general I'd say the NBC broadcast is better for two reasons: a) Varsha is gone b) the pic in pic during commercials And best of all: Nobody ever hired Wiener Pinzor back.
I think cnbc is local control at race time... When I checked it was infomercials. I'll check again tonight.
What a cluster ****! Can only hope things improve once the TdF is done. Real glad I have my VPN & Sky. Anyway, and FWIW, here on the left coast I'm seeing; P2; Tape delayed to 1:30pm Friday, NBCS Qualy; Live, NBCS, 05:00 Sat. Race; Live, CNBC, 04:30 Sun. For me (Directv) NBCS is 220, CNBC 355. These are showing up in the guide BTW. Worth noting that if you have it set to record the series on NBCS it won't "see" the live coverage on CNBC but rather record the tape delayed version from NBCS - I'm pretty sure this is what screwed some folk last time. Viva sky! Cheers, Ian
CNBC is now showing TBA in the GP time slot... Seems like it will be live in my area. One thing for certain... If committed F1 fans are getting frustrated,... how do they ever expect to garner new fans.
I've given up, a small backwater burg like Houston, obviously isn't worth sending it in... I DID see the UK Qualifying ,from down in Baycliff, TX...WTF!!??
According to the schedule on Dish Network: 7:30 am EDT CNBC (pre-race) 8:00 am EDT CNBC (race) 11:00 am EDT NBCSP (pre-race) 11:30 am EDT NBCSP (race) 1:30 pm EDT NBSCP ("f1 extra")
On a somewhat related note...today's Pocono IndyCar race is being shown live on both ABC and ESPN2...at least in my neck of the woods.
programing says cnbc 6:30 cst. 6:30 no race. hair goo commercials. luckily i'd already been watching the sky live stream. race and pre race delayed broadcast on nbcsn.
It was live on CNBC on Dish, but I don't get up at 7:30 on Sunday; thank you DVR. By the time I was done with the GP, the day's TdF was in the can, so that was a nice double feature. And NBCSP didn't even give away the F1 results before starting the F1 replay.
