I'm sure he's popular in Germany, but he doesn't seem to loved elsewhere for someone that's as successful and personable as he is. Even MS played dirty sometimes but the difference in perception worldwide is massive. Might have to do with the fact that he drives for a drinks company and not for a proper racing team or mfr. How many Red Bull fans have you ever come across, I haven't ever.

Strange topic I guess; I love Ferrari, but I'm also a huge Red Bull fan. I love their involvement in all forms of Motorsports...to me Red Bull gear is alot cooler looking than most other racing stuff plastered with tons of logos of companies I could care less about....

All great team's have been "midfield runners" at one time or another and McLarens current status will eventually change. Just look at Merc now compared to the last few seasons.

Button has beat Vettel in the past and on many occasions, given him a run for his money, and that's with an inferior car to the RedBull. I'm not saying he would hand Vettel his behind every single time, but in equal cars, I have no doubt Button would beat him.

Anyone remember Canada 2011? After dropping to last place and 5 stops later, Button caught up to Vettel and passed him on the last lap to win the Canadian GP.

Many occasions? Don't think so. Sure you can cherry pick the odd race here and there. Vettel is not going to win every race but he's sure as hell beaten Button more than Button has beaten him.

I don't like Vettel but I believe we're watching one of the greatest to ever drive a F1 car.

Reread what I posted. I didn't say Button has beaten Vettel on many occasion. I said Button had beaten Vettel in the past and on many occasions, given him a run for his money.
