it's early and I'm tired, so you're going to have to write your own Lucas, prince of darkness joke.

I really like that look. The piping really sets it off. How much trouble was it to rebuild/recover the seats?

Not hard at all. Only problem I ran into is that the driver's seat pan had rusted out. The replacement was about 1/4 inch too wide in the back. I only realized that after recovering and trying to put it in the floor frame. Didn't fit. So it took me an evening modifying the frame to accept the seat bottom.

Great collection! How would you compare the driving experiences and feel between the BN1, BN2, and BJ8? I've always liked Healeys but would have a hard time deciding which one to choose!

Got the TD I mentioned in a prior post, pulled out of the barn it's been in today. Image Unavailable, Please Login

It's a definite project, but the price reflected that.

    That looks like fun!

Can I ask what ballpark the price for a project was?

Right in the range of 4k, but with that we got a complete car, rust free and with no wood rot that we can find. Side curtains show a little wear, but I think they'll clean up fine for how much they'll get used. Found it buried in Cranberry Township.

    That's a steal, Dan!

Are you going to be at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix?

I wish I would be, but I'm actually moving to South Carolina for a year on Tuesday, makes getting the car a bittersweet victory. Luckily my parents have the storage space for it. If everything goes as planned I'll be back in time for the 2014 PVGP.
