    I have always enjoyed watching the run on TV but I have already cheated the Grim Reaper twice in my life so no I would not run it, third time is the charm.

    Thanks. There are 5 of us going, will also be going to Madrid, Toledo and Morocco.

    I bought a pen with a video camera to try to record the run.

    Had I the opportunity at 26 I probably would have done it. Closet I'd get now is a balcony above the street.

    Please do - I did it years ago and had an adrenaline-fueled blast.

    Ironically, I was in greater danger from a bull a few weeks later in the south of France. While taking picture of a Catharite "castle" I didn't notice the field's permanent resident approaching. Hadn't seen him when I went into the field, and I was intensely focused on framing the shot until I hear a funny sound...

    There are spots where it is real easy to imagine yourself enjoying the same view 300-400 years ago. If you are in a rental car, be sure to check out Avila...has one of the best preserved medieval walls in Europe!

    I'd post that I hanged my bandana on one of the bull's horns . . .

    I'd look into doing this. If I could train for it I'd probably do it.
