Hi everyone, Just thought I would share a few pictures of my 11/97 F355 that I picked up last weekend. It has had only one local owner from new, and came with everything (original car cover, seat covers, tools, books, bill of sale, spare keys, remotes, etc.). It is in excellent unmodified shape and has no paintwork ever done to it. It currently has 27,000 miles and runs perfectly. The previous owner has a couple of other Ferrari's and took good care of her. All she needs now is a belt change/tune up (it had been driven very occasionally, but it had its fluids changed regardless every year) and the stickies in the interior replaced. Then she'll be good to go. She's at the mechanic getting the work done to her. Beautiful car Bird. I can tell from your post that you too will take good care of her and enjoy driving the car considerably more than the previous owner. Congratulations!
Beautiful!! Congratulations and welcome to the 355 brotherhood as well as the 355 manual brotherhood! Get her serviced and drive the heck out of her - the more you drive 355s the happier they are! I would give some consideration to a Scuderia Rampante Innovations Gold Connector Kit at some point. IMO they are the single best addition/investment you can make for a 355 and will avoid a lot of possible annoyances as well as actual issues - Just something to consider. Cheers and enjoy what many consider to be the most beautiful "modern" Ferrari of all time
Thankyou all for the welcome! The gold connector kit will certainly be given some thought, but in the short term I just want to giver a good tuneup, belts and oil/filters, as well as sorting the sticky stuff. After that I will want to put some miles on her!! I'll use the car mainly to reach my weekend home outside of Lisbon, which is roughly a 300 mile round trip. The road is well paved and a nice mix of highway and twisties. I'll keep you guys posted on how things go. Thanks again, RS6Bird
GTB Red / black interior 6 speed manual. Very hard to find. That is the ideal combo to me. SICK. I couldn't find one after many many years of searching, so I ended up picking up a black on black 6 speed GTB instead .
I just noticed you're from Europe. Most of the red cars there had black interiors where in the U.S we were swamped with tan interiors.
