Underside, gearbox tunnel. Lamborghini did very bad on this, I think they put interior heat shield plates on the outside, it has some wool/cloth and glue. BAD combo . It is trapping water and humidity. We decided to take if all off and will use different material later. We use paint remover, will spray base coat tomorrow. It is nice having a 2-post lift .. no need to crawl under the car Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sanded ... We decided to take out all these panels. It took 4.5 hours each side, thanks to Lambo's generous use of sealant. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Vintage Klippan seat belts. I guess all 93 model LM002 were truly built in 1990. Gearbox, transfer case, and seat belts said 1989. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow Taffy! Can't imagine I'd miss this thread. Very brave & adventurous job there. Didn't see if you mentioned but is this truck in Jakarta or Australia? We saw some LM002s in action during the recent Italy's Giro 50 & the tyres are loud on the highway! Hope the tyres are easy for you to find now & guess we all have a morbid taste for these trucks as I have a G55 but here's some pics for you Oh I thought Motec is based in Australia? Go with whatever easier service/support that you can find on the ECUs. I use him for parts & he gives some good discount ex-factory. Might be good to get user manuals/service booklet if you haven't already. Thanks Jon, The car is in Jakarta. The tires are VERY expensive, $16-$20k for a set of 5 which is ridiculous. Pirelli should make a new batch of them. Hopefully the ECU is now working perfectly, or I might have to use Motec. Thank You for the exotic parts link. I will contact them when I need more parts. Currently I already acquire all manuals, parts books, etc. Very useful for what we are doing right now. I have also ordered Ansa sport exhaust and Ansa sport headers. Should sound awesome when we install it Cheers, Taffy
Glad to be of help but wow those tyres are freaking expensive & hope that they are young by the time you get them! Thought magazine said that Pirelli has began making them again now that more owners are using LMs. Guess your car's from Tommy? The Brunei garage sold quite a lot of cars some years ago & wonder what else they have now. Surprised too that Ansa makes your exhaust system but I would be careful with fitment on the headers as most likely you'll have to do some local mods for perfect fit. Would love to see yours rolling soon
Yes Octane magazine did say that Pirelli is going to make them again... NOT For the moment I will use BFG 315/70-17 (OEM from Hummer H2). Cheaper, and it fits. I am still curious when UK Lambo said there is another RHD was made around the same time as this one. It should be in Brunei though. Cheers, Taffy
We had this little fella drop by today, I chopped his head off with a machete (wearing sun glasses so I didn't get venom in my eyes) It's little moments like this that remind us the jungle isn't far away ... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
