They are probably thinking 10K+ sounds a lot better! I hate dealing with dealers and avoid it at all cost. If it's the right car at the right price though you just have to play the game.
I don't understand why the dealer would play games with a serious buyer... Those don't come along everyday.
Neither can I. They did however contact me last night to see if I was still interested. I explained that I've spoken with two salesmen asking for records and haven't gotten anything back yet. I was assured that I'd have something in hand by today. We shall see...
why? my guess is, for every serious buyer, you have 40 tire kickers. if both sides were more honest, it would help!!!
