Well I hope he/they can pull through, it's sounding like a sorry tale, one I hear often in these present times.

I think we can rule out Peter not being the winning bidder for that Mercedes W196, which won the 1954 German and Swiss Grands Prix, the hammer went down for it at $26.4 million!!!.

I pulled out at 25 mil...;)

Ferrari has a russian anti-virus sponsor on the nose of the car too.

Kaspersky Lab. Their CEO Eugene Kaspersky is obsessed with F1.

A relative worked for Eugene for a couple of years and describes him as 'a lovely man'.

They have held events in Moscow. It would make sense to do something for the games.

Will this deal get the transfer carousel started?

Great news for Sauber. Why can't a team like Williams, which has real F1 heritage, do the same and get themselves back up to the front of the pack?

    Easy there.

While Williams has been longer in F1, Sauber has now been in F1 for 20+ years. That makes them the 4th longest lasting team on the current grid and about 8th in the entire history of F1.

So if you want to pick teams with little to no heritage go knock on some much younger doors. A fizzy drink manufacturer comes to mind :p
