My high mileage (43k) 355 has had test pipes with O2 sensor extenders since I bought it. I has always had a CEL, I ultimately removed the bulb and periodically pull the codes where I would see codes for no cats and no CEL bulb.

Just got the PPI report and all the codes are gone! That's right, no cats, no simulators, no codes.

Dave said that might happen, I figured no chance. Been at least 2k miles on the car since the connectors installed (with full ECU reset)

    BRAVO DAVE!

BTW I also had excellent compression and leakdown so the mileage fears on these cars appears completely unfounded.

There is an inconsistency in you post. You stated you pulled the bulbs. Then:

    A) If you replaced the mil bulb after installing the GCK (and before refreshing the ECU), you would have known there were no CELs.

    B) If you did not replace the bulb the PPI should have reported a code for no mil bulb.

You are correct, sorry. The bulb is out, the PPI showed that, but now no codes for the cats, which had been present. I do have spacers under the O2 sensors, which have been there all along.

Well, that good. :) Never had an issue with new connectors fixing problems due to bad connections, gold , tin, or otherwise.
