Jon, let me rephrase my question.

Do you personally rebuild the calipers or send them to a third party for rebuilding?

I rebuild them. I send them out for replating.

Heck I'm sure I can remember scrutineering 308 Ferraris and they had tiny solid discs on the front and rear ... guess I must be mistaken, but I can remember being very unimpressed.

Looking hood - keep up the great work!

This body is consistent with mine in that there is lead work on the area behind the doors (and many other places). Ferrari must have cornered the market on lead in those years - there is an amazing amount used on Dinos.

Just as a matter of taking a poll, mine (03932) are ventilated front and rear.

I picked up plating today before stopping to see Rob's Dino being painted. I loaded everything up and headed to famous Phillipi's for lunch. As I was sitting there an image came into my mind of a GOLD door catch!!!. YES they accidentally mixed 2 bins of sorted parts and plated them all gold. Luckily I was a few miles away and tried to resort what I could from memory and they redid a batch for me in 30 minutes and I was on my way. I may be making another trip as I don't think I caught every nut and bolt!

Jon can you explain/describe how the plastic was recast and who did it? I have a Porsche 914 and have similar parts that are now in need of replacing.

Do you crack test any parts?

Also don't see why you consider this shell so bad, looks okay for such an old car to me.

How do you paint the red horn? Is that red anodized?
Which colour code do you take for the beige caps?
I need the red hose, do you have a source?
    Very good looking.
