It seems Jag has put quite a bit of development into this car, I suspect it's more of a design exercise than anything else? Would be great if they actually had intentions on building it. Seems to be an unknown.

Much more attractive than the p1 or 918 IMHO.

    It's a stunner in gold.

But these concept cars always end up lame. Look at the new Vette. The Transormers concept, which was wicked cool turns into the c7, which looks like a c6, overcome by origami, with the ass end of a Camero superglued onto the back.

For them to have so many drivable, engineered, finished prototypes suggests that it is more then just a styling exercise.

I just love this car, the styling, the carbon chassis, and drivetrain of combined electric with the small capacity I4 twin charged ....that it's not concerned about having a huge (and heavy) drivetrain, nor highest top speed, but instead great solid "usable" performance package & it does look very complete in many respects as nearly production ready (note the finished interior parts, the clean engine bay packaging) ....the whole car is to me fantastic!!

I love the XJ220 and I love this car as well. Wish they would make it instead of a future tech testbed for their roadcars. Oh well...maybe they'll sell off a prototype or two at some point to private collectors. I want one. :) Not too flashy, but still screams supercar.

They really should produce this car. Kudos to jaguar I'm more and more interested in the brand.

It may actually be the Tata management that killed it, even though being so far along development, as the original design concept & prototype program started before the change

I give McLaren credit for trying something different but IMHO the 918 looks dated already. This jag is stunning.

Yep, especially since Porsche apparently hired Ferrari to keep manufacturing the 360 front fascia for Porsche for the 918.

The 360 has been out of production for what, 8 years?
