I am driving myself crazy , 90 348 u.s with cats. only at idle or very low rpm, everyonce in a while with no regularity , 1/4 CEL flashes or comes on long enough when taking off from a stop the car will sputter I can hear the ECU relay click, ( 1/4 bank is falling off) it does this for hardly a second and then is fine. Never comes on when driving , only after you come to a stop after about 15 seconds at idle. I have swapped ECU's, Cat ECU's, MAP's, O2 sensors, replaced both Crank sensors, Swapped ECU Relays, Am I forgetting something, any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Have you checked the voltage at that RPM? Perhaps grounding also?

Have you read the codes? You seem to be replacing parts wholesale without checking the diagnostics.

Had a code for Cat ecu, was also getting a 5/8 Cel but the new crank sensors (first item that was replaced or swapped) seemed to eliminate any 5/8 light. what components other then the cat ecu will cause the 1/4 bank to shut down. I have spent money only on 2 volvo crank sensors, everything else has been swapping components from side to side.

Fuel pressure? I had an intermittent CEL with loss of power in one bank. Turned out a line from the pump to the fuel outlet was split (the pump and this line are inside the fuel tank). Once that line completely failed inside the tank the pump was just recirculating fuel within the fuel tank . . . no pressure to the injectors, bank goes dead, CEL on. Just my experience.
