    Let's try this again:

Assume 3 cars, 1 GTS, 1 GTB, 1 Spider, all identical except the model, which one brings more $$$

Come on Dave... We don't need anymore division between 355 owners. :)

After all, as long as you're around you'll just keep trying to talk values down anyway. ;)

But for the records, 95 GTS 6 speeds in white are the most valuable. :D

Some pay more for top down experience and vice versa. I live in sunny Socal, a convertible is a must with our year round great weather. Rarely rains, never snows. A Hardtop convertible, now that's a treat in itself

Actually the 355 also needs to be nero/nero with over 40k mile and road rash on the usual spots from actually driving it. The final and most important factor is the VIN ending in 8542.... Lucky me!

I own a spider but voted GTB. Watching them it seems they are always asking more for them. If they get it or not I don't know. I was surprised GTB had the least votes so far.

I appreciate the honest post. The thread was not "What model do you own"

I think you are now the second spider owner to admit the GT's sell for more.

Here in the US, I'd expect Spyders to be worth more. Esp. in Spring.

I was always under the impression the spider's commanded the least of the 3 (4) variants due to being most prevalently produced.

    Voted GTS.

The lower production one , which I believe if you include those 50ss in Europe, and 100ss in North America. Those would be at the top of the pecking order.

I am not a wind in the hairs type of person.
I, personally, would never buy a GTS or Spyder.

    Hi Bob,
All things being equal I would say that a spider and GTS would be worth basically the same amount. In my opinion a coupe would be give or take $7500 less.

Bob, you know how much I value that dealer, but that's one opinion for one salesman at one dealer.

Send that email to 10-20 delaers and then average the results.

Well he does it every day for a living dealing exclusively with Ferraris so from this persons perspective, he ought to know what he is talking about.

Also...your poll results are exactly in line with what he said as well.

Bob, have you ever met anyone in your life "that does this for a living" that is not good at what they do? Not saying he does not know what he's talking about but just coz "someone does it for a living" does not always make them an expert.

Without listing names, another dealer sales person I was dealing with when looking for my car did not know jack about what he was talking about - not a thing. It happens.

LOL OK Dave. He hasn't a clue what he is talking about.

If he does it for a living, each and every day, exclusively and has for many years and is well respected, in my world that means he knows what he is talking about. I am long past believing that I know more than experts in their respective fields. . I learned long ago to heed to words and advice of people who know more than I do.

And again, even your "popular" poll is saying exactly what he did.

So, you've never had a bad experience with anyone in your life that "does this for a living"?

    WOW - I'm envious....

Like I said, send that email to 10-20 dealers and average the results...
