I don't have the opportunity to watch European TV in the states. If he's become more open to PR and all that stuff, fair enough, but seriously, everyone has to do it these days, from Vettel to Alonso to Hamilton. Any of those drivers have the same qualities that Kimi does (depending on what part of the world you're in. If you think Kimi would be more popular than Alonso in Spain or Italy, or Hamilton in Great Britian then you've lost the plot) and are arguably better than he is. Why should Kimi or anyone get a pass when it's part of the job?

The 2007 and 2008 Ferraris were rockets yet he was regularly outqualified by Massa.

I can't believe this question is even being asked.

When Vettel grows up, perhaps he'll be as good as Kimi, perhaps not.

Rbr rightfully cares a lot about winning constructors. As Ferrari have proven 1 rooster is not enough to win. Rbr will go for fastest driver they can secure and that looks like kimi. Also vodka and red bull pays for the team so is there a better ambassador on the planet???

Overall, no. Kimi probably has more natural talent and speed than any driver today, but doesn't center his life around F1 the way some drivers do. What he needs is motivation. He once had it when he wanted to be WDC at Ferrari, then acted like a neutered dog after he won it. I think he would be very keen to beat Vettel on the same team. Me to. :D
