2013 Concorso Italiano - 3x8's

I will be driving up and displaying my 16M in the Italian Concorso. Driving up from SoCal with another buddy driving up in a Mas GT.
What other events are you attending?

Have fun! I've attended Concourso twice, in 2003 and again in 2007. Loved it, back when I only dreamed of some day owning a Ferrari. Now that I have my 308 GTS, I think it would be most appropriate to do a road trip down the coast and enter the 308. Maybe next year!

 

Last time i was there, we did the parade through carmel, i swear every 288 built was there........maybe a few more)))))

 

I'll be driving my dino down for Friday.

 

Yes we both registered late but will display our cars.

We will be doing:

Thurs: Aston cocktail event
Fri: Italiano Concorso
Sat: Laguna Seca and auction
Sun: Pebble Concorso

If anyone has suggestions for "don't miss" events, please let me know.
Or some great restaurants....

 

There were at least three 328 GTBs last year. The two from SoCal were in pristine conditions. I hope they will show up again.

 

My 308qv that I registered is down for repairs but I will be there in a friend's green '69 Alfa GTV.

We should have a 308 FChat meetup time and place where we can say "HI" face-to-face.

 

Geno, wait till next year, since Ferrari will be the Marquis, lets try to get all the 3x8 in the world out there and dominate every F model on the show

Sounds good to me - I'm going to check out Quail this year, but should be back at Concorso next year.

I'll be down in the area, but with my 1987 BMW 325i convertible. Will oogle the Ferrari's parked at Laguna turn 5 on Saturday, but will be parked in the BMW area.

Friday, I'm not sure what I'm doing. Thought about getting the 308 judged at the Concorso, but wifie won't drive the Ferrari back home on Monday (she doesn't fit it) (she is short) and I need the BMW because this year's BMW Car Club of America "Oktoberfest" the following week. Maybe next year. A Concours judge gave my 308 a quick look-over a few weeks ago and thought it would score well. (FOG crowd: the interior is back in.) It's never been judged, but I am not a detailing fanatic. May do a lesser concours some day.

I'll be up but my car is staying down south. Blk/Blk 328 gtb '89.

Just going to take in the cars at the Concorso and Laguna on Saturday.

Next year I'll be up with the car, however probably not for judging. Just going to take in the show and meet some friends.

Should be fun taking a few drives next year through Monterey and stops.
