When I went to order the plate, they said (much to my surprise) that "95 F355" was available. When I actually tried to order it, I couldn't. So I got this instead:

I like it Dave. How many letters/characters are you limited to in South Africa? Henry

No our eye site is fine we just can not read when we're drunk and were drunk all the time. We would be in real trouble if our beer was your price because its cheaper than gasoline. That would cause us grief we would not be able to decide if we are driving our ferraris or drinking and admiring them instead.

I just saw this post. That would have been a fantastic plate.

    Hi Henry

Depends on the state. In our state you can choose anywhere from 1 to 7 letters / numbers

99% of people just have a sequentially generated plate in the format 2 letters, 2 digits, then 2 letters, but if you are willing to pay about $400 you can get whatever you want.

Far from creative, but I like the simplicity of it. Gotta love Michigan too...before departing for the DMV I came up with three choices in case my first choice wasn't available and low and behold all three were available (there's not many Ferrari's in Michigan, and even less 355's).

Matt, the car looks great! I was going to get 355 GTS but then my friend DrBob said "it's already on your car, have some fun" so I got this instead:

Luke, 355F1GTS was also an option for me but I just did not like all the letters running together. Still cool. But, Erik's "GUILTY" is still the best!

Yea, I liked the GUILTY so much it's the first one I tried for, but it was taken already here in Montana. Then I went for BADIDEA, also gone. So I just ended up with the one below. I've got a lot of laughs and comments about all summer.

    LOL!

It's very easy to do, just takes time. I'd be happy to help anyone that wants to give it a go.

Your plate is great I also really like the BADIDEA. I might have chosen that if I had thought of it before GUILTY.

That's my favorite one so far Brian. I've got to get a little more creative with mine next time around (see post #1). Henry

We only get 6 in Texas (7 is also possible, but you have to jump through hoops and the total cost with registration comes out to almost $500/yr) otherwise I'd seriously consider my friend's suggestion:

    CMPNS8N

And for you guys in CA that get 8, one of you should totally go for "CMPNS8NG".

But there's just no way to convey "compensating" with only 6 that I can come up with.

Not a 355 or mine, but I took this today and couldn't help but post it in a few fitting threads, so awesome! Taken in San Francisco today, the Green capital of the entire world. Wish I had the balls to put something like this on my 355, but the car would get seriously vandalized around here!
