    Hi omgjon,

I wish I saw these before I bought my switch off of ebay. Do you also have the mounting brackets?

This is what my bracket looks like, confirming synchro's rightful opinion.
Mine is an E series, thus could be an evolution.
It really boils down to what your pleasure is and how it should be mounted.
Seriously doubt it will be visible as it goes under the rear batchboard?

    Regards, Alberto

    Hi Folks,
As always, thanks for all your comments and ideas.
Here are some photos on how the issue was solved for my E-series
    1. made a template
    2. transfered the template to a sheet of aluminum
    3. bracket cutout complete
    4. bracket shaped
    5. bracket formed
    6. protective duct tape removed and bracket painted
    7. bracket installed. The trunk lid closes without tension or stress to the bracket and the two license plate lights shine bright, even in the day light.
    8. the bracket sits under the batch board.

Now, if I could just find a replacement batch board. Mine has many cracks in it and the area around the switch was broken off sometime in its prior life.

    Thank again!
