    Monterey Run from Calabasas - August 15
    On Thursday August 15 at 9:00 AM sharp, leaving from Calabasas, over 50 of us will be doing a run to Monterey. If anyone wishes to join us.

    The route has been expertly planned taking some back highways with very little use of the freeways. A chance to really exercise your car.

    Lunch in Paso Robles.

    I'm headed up on Thursday from Santa Barbara - usually go solo up rt 1 but this also sounds like a great drive. Any chance the route takes you through the Santa Ynez valley? I could meet up with the group there.

    I could also head out toward Ojai/Rt 33 if that put me in position to meet up with the group. Hard to tell without knowing the route.

    As long as the 5 isn't involved, it sounds like it's going to be a blast. I might have to take the E63 though so I can take my mom and dad. Can I still join?

    Would love to join but it looks like my buddy and I are leaving a bit later.
    But we'll be arriving in Monterey around 6 for the Aston Martin reception

    Just 12 days away. This is turning out to be a large exotic/luxury car rally.

    The drive will begin at the old VCR (Supercar Sunday), 24050 Ventura Blvd, Calabasas, CA on August 15. We leave at 9:00 AM sharp so be there no later then 8:15 AM.

    Reminiscent of the old VCR days we still expect (hope) Dusty to be there with his bull horn for the send off.

    Looks like about 60 cars so far.

    Our route was geniusly planned by Zac Dugger with very little use of freeways. Only the first leg will be freeway. The highways that we take will give us the opportunity to "exercise" the cars.

    Our lunch stop (In and Out Burger) will be in Atascadero. Then some more back highways to Monterey.

    The drive will begin at the old VCR (Super Car Sunday), 24050 Ventura Blvd, Calabasas, CA on August 15. We leave at 9:00 AM sharp so be there no later then 8:15 AM.

    Looks like about 80 cars so far and more keep signing up daily. There are a few other Monterey rallies that may join us on the way.

    The run is just 3 days away.

    IMPORTANT REMINDER:
    Be at (REGENCY SHOPPING CENTER) 24050 Ventura Blvd, Calabasas, CA on August 15. As there may be 100+- exotic cars going, you will need to be there by 8:00 AM for your Goldfinger Rally stickers and to sign the rally release. We will leave at 9:00 AM sharp. No exceptions.
    Please note also, that this run is for exotic cars and some luxury cars - ONLY!

    See you then.
