My after market Becker is a great system but isn't Bluetooth for music, only cell calls.
It is for music if you use the cable that they can sell you. Anyway, not ideal but it's better than throwing some other head unit in the car.
The cable isn't long enough to reach the change tray and I'm not going to try and extend it.
So, where, or how do you place the Iphone where it wont fly all over the place when you're driving.
    Yes I searched first!

In the net on the side of the tunnel. But I used an iPod previously and now a bluetooth adaptor for the iPhone. (Never plugged the phone in each time).

I have an ipod nano permanently plugged in and hidden under the dashboard.
I update it once every 2-3 months.
The iphone always remain in my pocket and it is always connected via bluetooth.

I keep my iPhone inside of my stereos head unit. Keeps it charged, not flying around the cockpit , and the music and phone functions work seamlessly . Search my posts on stereos for more info.

I found a local (Portland, Oregon) sound specialist and had them build a completely custom iPhone mount for my F430 F1 Spider. You can see a few photos of the result in this thread:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/413530-sound-system-overhaul-project-f430-f1-spider.html

(They also did a mount for an iPad Mini which is nice because if gives me a full-size navigation and sound system in the car.) Happy to answer questions and if you have a F430 I can put you in touch with Tom and he could likely build and ship you one.

I keep it in the front pocket on my 430. This is so that if I get a text, i can read it. I dont outbound text while driving, just too dangerous. But at a stoplight, sure.

My iPhone is not wired or wireless to the car because my exhaust is so loud and top is always down which prohibits audible communication. My stereo is not terrible, but while driving it seems like a joke orchestrated by a disgruntled Ferrari employee in charge of mobile audio.
