I've searched the forum with little help in regards to the procedure. I've purchased a new exhaust and want to tackle the install. I'm pretty good with working on cars and would love some advice and or links on how to do so from the pro's. Thanks in advance, I love this forum and the help it provides.

Hey Steve, it was most definitely an upgrade! I have Fabspeed Headers along with gutted Cats to begin with. I spoke to Glen Lite at Nouvalari and finally decided to purchase a Super Sport System from him. I haven't received the system yet but I have removed the OEM system with very little effort. It wasn't a difficult process what so ever!

Thanks Chris, your instructions on the process were spot on. Only additions that I made were removal of the rear wheels to access the panels for the bumper fasteners. I also completely removed the F1 under trays.

Hi Chris, I have just sent you a PM.

Sal, how does your car sound with the super sports exhaust?

Anyone have some OEM fully gutted cats that are otherwise in good condition they would like to sell?

Sal, get ready for some fun! If you're coming from a stock exhaust be prepared to be blown away... Just make sure you've had a hearty breakfast because you WILL get lightheaded the first time you punch it! Will make you very glad you didn't sell. I have a Cap-3 but the Nouvalari's sound really great, very similar. Can't complain about the price either! For even better sound, if you don't have them already get Hyperflow cats, as this will really let your true exhaust note out. Not cheap, but so worth it. I drove my F355 B back to back with stock cats and Hyperflows and the difference in sound/speed/throttle response was amazing! In a Spider the sound difference will be unbelievable.

Hope you're keeping your car, nothing like a sorted 355 with great exhaust components!

Is it possible to remove the stock exhaust and fit the new exhaust with the rear bumper in place? Anyone has experience?

No, the lowest portion of the rear fascia wraps underneath the muffler. The rear bumper isn't that hard to remove, be sure to use blue painters tape on the rear quarter panels above the bumper seam, helps protect your paint on install.

    Hi Christopher,
Could I get you to send the same instructions you sent to Sal? I'm going to try to install a Cappy 3 on my '95 GTB this weekend. If anyone else has any tips on techniques, tools, and required replacement parts, it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!
