Hi all I have a 2004, serial number 138299 and assembly number 55518. How many out there with higher numbers? 360 Coupes only please. No spyders or Challenge Stradales.
I've got ZFFYR51B000138404, sold in Italy on September 16 2004 So only 11 Modena's were produced after mine
WOWW!! That makes this even more special! In 2004 Ferrari was producing 360 Modena's, 360 Spiders, 360 Challenge Stradales, 575M's, 612 Scaglitti's and Enzo's See bottom of page: Ferrari 360 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Total production of 360 Modena's was about 8500 And my Red/Tan F1 is one of the very very last specimen of this beautiful breed You just made my day
Mine - 138299 - is a manual. Any higher serial numbers with manuals? Anyway, I would guestimate that 360 coupes accounted for perhaps only 1 in 5 or even 1 in 10 cars Ferrari was producing in mid-2004, as they were winding down and preparing for the 430 launch. They were also going full bore on the 360 spyders to finish and sell as many as possible before they were phased out...they had a boat load of unfulfilled orders for these. Also, by this late time, almost all of the cars were being ordered with the F1 transmission. So I would guess that my car was perhaps 10 or 20 cars from the end of production of the 360 coupes. But was it the last manual???
My manual 360 is 138079. It is Rossa Scuderia...a slightly special color since it wasn't offered until '04 (I believe)
138399 was the last three pedal car I see. Delivered to Australia and later modified as a Challenge Stradale look-alike. There were only a very few (I only see 2) three pedals built after 138299, though. Incidentally, the earliest F430 I see is 138331, so Modena production overlapped the early F430s. 360 Spiders continued to be built until at least March 2005 to fill the gap until the F430 Spider came on line.
