Yes the design is about perfect. Small displacement V8s like a tri-Y 4-2-1 design header. Been down that road dozens of times with much dyno time over the years
My stock orig are still on the car with minimal damage. last time the exhaust was off I scoped them and they are at, just about time to replace

Taiwan manufacturer does not offer any warranty to direct end customers,
The material used is T304 stainless, whatever that means!

At this price point I am willing to take the risk!

I do agree for the dip in midrange but it all makes up for a better top end with fabspeed .
I have raced 4 355 with the same exhaust tubi or capistro but without the fabspeed headers. some have pulled me for abit on a starting roll but after 7000rpm there is a big difference with the fabspeed when they come on.

Great info. Where did you find these at this price? Is it at a specific dealer, or another channel? Thanks.

They were from an authorized Ferrari shop.

Call Classic Coach and ask for Carlos/Service Manager

When you say "re-engineered" what does that mean? What have they done to address the short comings of the original system?

I am very interested in this as well. Frankly, I don't believe them and think they are blowing hot air. So are the OEM headers being sold by Ferrari today not NOS?

I did recently learn from some Ferrari dealer techs that FNA has greatly reduced the price of main replacement components (headers, cats, ect) and a pair of headers at $2700 would be a much more competitive price than the $6-8k they used to be.

My originals lasted 15 years, thats really great in my books for headers. Most headers I have had maybe 5 years at most, race headers 1 season at most

I was told by Classic Coach that they are not NOS. Yes the owner of Classic Coach told me that they were drastically reducing prices on these items to bring prices in line with the market. This is also another reason why this solution was felt to be the best available right now by one of our tech forum members.

I would LOVE to hear and see how they were changed. This would be a huge step in the right direction for Ferrari to take with concern for supporting models no longer in production.

I would love to be wrong but everything inside me says this could not possibly be the case. If they were improved and only $2700 they would be back on my radar as a serious option for my own 355 in the future.

I tell you what Steve or anyone else who is in the market for headers. Call.your own dealer or call Classic Coach and see if you can get more specific info than I did. I went with what two people who I trust recommended and I asked
d the questions as I outlined above. I did not ask what they did, What ss is used, . What they changed. Etc

buy a pair the original 1999 HEADERS from the junk yard, remove the heat shields yourself &
have them CERAMIC COATED inside & outside--around $200 a pair (wholesale price)

or you can have yours welded for cheap & have them CERAMIC COATED $200 (wholesale)

this is another way to GO ,you decide or pay big BUCKS

    my 2 cents
