    What is the best way to change the battery without messing anything i.e reprograming! Thanks for all the help that should be all I will need( maybe lol)

    Simply unscrew the tiny Philips head screw, open the case gently, take out the A23 battery and put a new one in. Then just put the pieces back together and replace the screw. Should be just fine. No magic to it. Just make sure you put the battery in correctly +/-.
