Yes - I think it showed up on Copart about a week ago.

The link was shared here by 360C but it is already dead.

EDIT: The link to the images on Copart has '20130813' in the URL.

any buyers here for this car? Is it REALLY that bad? Take a look at some of the pictures of multiple wrecked 250 GTO's over the years...no market depreciation there. Understanding that gto's damaged "in period racing" may be different than current owners smacking'em up at LimeRock and the like, yet damage is damage...and it is repairable...and gto's remain VERY expensive. Why the stink about the FBI car? Hell, the back story may even add value as time goes on?

current price is $750k usd....comments please, thanks.

    Jack

I still dont know who fixed the FBI car. Maybe that explains the stink.

I think in time the attitude towards the car will soften and the bias will fade, as is always the case with important Ferraris over time.

The bias may have begun to fade....several "inspections lined-up this week" and repairs thru orange co. ferrari "affiliated" body-shop. is this the case of "too good to be true" or "buyer beware"?? 50% discount to current market seems substantial.(?) car listed Symbolic. I am still curious as to what, exactly, is "the bias"? As I said prior, many many very important and expensive Ferrari's (and others) have been bent with value intact after repair. I would not want to buy a repaired 430 or the like, yet what am I missing here..provided car is indeed intact and has sustained the "limited" damage as described with apparent professional repair?
    Again thanks for the input,

    Jack

Jack it's still a mystery who repaired the car and how well the repair was done. The damage was well documented in pics so people are very skeptical as to how they were compleated. The pics appear to show tub damage. A serious ppi would need to be done to ease any potential buyers mind.

The F50 just sold by Dick Lovett here in the UK was I believe, sold for £650k. New euro record?

I think the F50 will become the favourite over time. It's always that way with somewhat unloved classics. A raw V12 go kart...what's not to love!?!

I'm told it was 9,000 km. Still pretty low. Maybe the EU cars are catching up with the US...

The Dick Lovett car had no history as far as I know although it could have been traced by then as it was German originally.
