    Mclaren has until the end of August to renew his option, also button said any driver would love to drive for Ferrari.....hmmmmm

    Seriously - why wouldn't McLaren renew him? Who else would they have in their pipeline?

    Note that Jenson, a guy I like a lot, has the same age and carrer profile as Kimi (about exactly the same age: born Jan 19, 1980; Kimi: Oct 17, 1979) and, by the way, as Massa...

    Yeah, I suspect they'd like to keep him around.

    But should Ferrari or the Cans come a knockin I think he'd jump ship in a heartbeat. ;)

    I would love to see Button in a Ferrari, though due to his age I would rather see Hulk. Would rather have Kimi than both.

    So Button's option expired on 08/31; McLaren has not picked up his option. Althiught they keep saying they want him.....Rumors of a 3 year extension....
    Does that make him a free agent?

    Why would McLaren screw around and not sign him? it's not like they have a strong pipeline of drivers....
