It looks like I've got a bad F1 TCU on my '98 355. Does anyone here have a used one for sale?

Bummer. How did you end up with that as the fault?

It's in my shop now. They found that the TCU is bad and are looking for a replacement part for me. I just thought I'd check here to see if anyone was parting out a 355 F1.

    Ferrparts.....

Just remember, the easiest thing to blame for a malfunction is an ECU. It usually turns out to be something else.

Can you give us any more info on the circumstances that led you to the TCU

The shop diagnosed it. I didn't do anything myself. I have every reason to believe they are correct though. They've taken the TCU off another 355 and placed it on mine. When they do that the car works perfectly.

I should also add that I had recently had a 360 pump put in the car. We've replaced a lot of other parts in the system too. It took them quite a while to track it down to the TCU.

Call the boys at Ferrparts. They'll have what you need.
