    I looked at the ad, the mileage was listed at 46,000 right where it says "MILEAGE" in the description. It should have said "TMU" instead of 46,000, just like every other TMU listing on eBay. Yes, your description did reference the dash change later on but why didn't you put TMU in the mileage description? You did change it later on (after getting called out here) so obviously there was a recognizable issue.

    The very best thing you can do is refund the guy the listing fee. Anybody who Googles the VIN gets this thread as a result. I would never, NEVER do business with a guy who wouldn't refund a $150 listing fee when he was clearly responsible for the confusion. I am sure the majority of the prospective customers for your car feel the same way. Do the right thing and refund the fee. The $150 will be the best PR you can get at this point.

    I put the 46000 in the mileage section because I had thought the used dash was going to be in the car ... that is what it would have indicated ... and you can not put tx in that box! I then described the change in the description. I figured this was the correct way but then all the feedback received here made me realize that I should have put the 85k and then describe in description ... so that is what I did again.
    Now I will have the original in the car ... so none of that is needed ... and the car has never left the shop. I am done explaining myself here, you do not like the car, do not buy it ... I have plenty other that are interested.
    I would might have consider refunding the ebay fee as well if he had not knowing told half truths here and even with it documented in this thread ... still accuse me of changing the ad after he sent a deposit ... a total lie! ... and he did not even apologize now that the facts are out there.

    No one is going to believe that you didn't realize that you should've put the actual mileage next to "MILEAGE" in an Ebay ad. No one! It comes across as you trying to make your car look like a seriously pampered garage queen that's being sold at a great price.

    Refund the fees, man. It's the only way anyone is going to take your ad semi-seriously. (What's with the RHD pic, dude?)

    The last time I read the ad was probably the morning of the 20th, well before the changes were made and certainly before the deposit was made. What reason would I have to go back and read the ad again? I certainly was not expecting such an important issue to be left out in the first place. I won't make that mistake again. Maybe you had already made the changes, maybe you hadn't. At this point it's irrelevant due to the many inconsistencies and doubts present in your explanations.

    I wish you good luck with the sale.

    The car was fix with the original dash using the back circuit board from the other and everything works perfect ... I really do not give a **** what you guys here think ... The new owner has the docs and has spoken with the mechanic ... that is all that matters.
