i've seen similar cars and i think it will look great in that colour(could it be celeste?).
the interior is also really nice although i prefer a black dash top and steering wheel.
    overall though a gorgeous OTO.

Ross, you should go check out and test drive a 612. It is a very large car. The exterior dimensions of my 2007 612 HGTC is larger than my wife's W211 E55. For a lot of European daily duty conditions I think the 612 would almost be impractically large. I love my 2013 Golf R: reasonably fast, small, nimble, reasonable mileage, manual transmission, AWD, 4 doors, great feedback (of course, no Ferrari...), zero issues in 10k miles.

    Hi Ross.

When I started looking for a Vanquish S in 2012, my Aston Dealer offered me a DBS for a nice price. It was a 2009 manual in grey with 37.000kms.

I never drove the DBS before, because I preferred the DB9 due to its more classy lines.

I tested the DBS for two full days and I was really impressed. But at the end, it is just a DB9 on slight steroids.
It's more sporty than a DB9, but do I need "more sporty" for a GT car?

The DB9 is a nice DD, so the DBS should be as well.

But if you want a two seated Aston, please look for a Vanquish S!
If you prefer the stick shift, it needs much time to get one. Converting a paddle gearbox to manual is very expensive.
Believe me - I never drove a manual Vanquish - the paddle gearbox is great if you understand it and treat it like you should.
The Vanquish is a underrated but great GT car.
Visit the Vanquish community in the AMOC on www. There are all nice guys with amounts of knowledge about the Vanq.

    Cheers

Put your current 456mgt up for sale and then deal with the dilemma once you sell your current vehicle at a price you are happy with!

I'm actually in the middle of trading out of an R8 V10 to a 550.

    The R8 is basically perfect.

That begs the question that if it's perfect why are you trading out of it?

Sometimes people need a little grit with their mash. A beautiful and perfectly behaved woman can be boring after awhile. (I know; everyone is saying "sounds great to me!!"). Ferraris' quirks keep you involved. I'm guessing that's why he's trading out.

    ^^^this :)

I can always go back and buy another R8 as well. 550s are harder to come by, even when they were new.

Plus non-car people don't pay the same attention to a 550 as they do an R8.
I won't have some random guy at a gas station walk up to me and ask what is under the glass in the back with the 550 the way they do with the R8.

Hi (assuming this is the same from YR)!

Yes on trading - to a 550 (waiting on PPI now, so it may not be that particular one, but pretty set on that model - not in a rush).

Not sure re the plates - prob not, as they aren't amusing/fun on a 550. Prob just get non-vanity plates.

Ross, the 612 OTO color is "azzuro", from the 50s/60s color range. It's NOT grigio alloy (that has less blue in it).
    It is:
    Farbcode 106-A--32
    Farbname Celeste Chiaro Metallizzato
    Akzo Code FER005

I just talked to the dealer and he told me, the car is there since a few days and in perfect condition.

    Cheers

I'm always asked: "How fast does it go?", "How fast have you driven it?" and "how much does it cost?"
