Sounds about right...or at least similar to what I paid. The only thing that didn't come with mine (ebay) was the rubber gaskets. So I used the ones that were on the original grill. No fit issues.
ok, I bought a grill today off S.F Craigslist and was told it is OEM. Then i took it to independent ferrari shop to have it install and told it is not OEM. Question is how can i tell wht is copy vs the real deal? My mechanic said the real one has a piece of rubber on the side end corner
Was it a private seller, dealer, or Ferrari parts dealer that you bought the challenge grill from? Some ferrari parts dealers will sell the reproduction Prosport challenge grills, which is possibly the one you got.
Thanks for the offer but i already paid for this copy Curious wht u are asking and do u have a pic so i can compare.. Thanks
I have the OEM and yes it does have the rubber seals on the ends. It's a removeable seal and not much of a big deal. You can make your own seal. Most are happy with the prosport ones because thet are actually coated to prevent rust whereas the oems are not.
I am a little pissed tht the guy misrepresent product and i over paid. Other than tht, grill looks fine on her
Post pics when you're done. Pay attention to the fitment on the upper passenger side. Thats where most issues are including the OEM version.

Or you can make your own with aluminum mesh for about $40. Not quite as elegant, but cools nicely. Image Unavailable, Please Login
