So there's less advantage if you're already stealthy. Interesting about the error message - most of the manufacturers of jammers claim not to generate one (of course)

Actually, the jammers I use can sense the police lasers from up to a mile away, so as long as the cops are firing at cars, you will know

The jammers always disrupt the cops laser, they get an error message, but the jammer is designed to warn you it's jamming, then switch off after say 5 seconds allowing the laser to cool and hopefully, as you have been warned, slowed down. The cops them get a reading, at the speed limit or at least a lower one than previous, hence they cannot prove you jammed them

Mine has worked at some great speeds, of which I would be stupid to write down, but the sight of cops hitting their lasers on the roof of their cars in annoyance demonstrates how well they work. If I am stopped, and they ask, I simply say the jammer module controls my garage doors and gates, and they can't prove they don't. In the uk. It's the law to say you cannot jam a laser signal, but no law says you can't have the equipment, and they have to prove you used it. If as you are pulled over you switch it off, they cannot prove you used it and as long as you are not a nutter, you won't admit it.

Touching wood, but I have never been done for speeding when using a jammer, and I have heard the jamming signal a lot of times
