Hi, Its a shot in the dark but I thought maybe some one has the books and tools of a 74 dino vin#08054. The car was up for sale in 1989 by Bruce Russell in Washington and had its books and tools then. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

generally he not only has sets of books and tools, but he also knows which car they came out of.

    He's a sponsor here, I believe.

The warranty card may be the only thing with your VIN number on it, the rest will not necessarily be specific to your car although the tool kit roll should have the later style red interior to it. There are several dealers that sell these but you may be surprized at the pricing as they seem to appreciate faster than the cars.
Ferrari Dino 246 GT GTS 1973 74 Original Owners Handbooks Pouch | eBay

Contact dinogts, I know he has a tool kit he is considering selling.

BTW, this has been happening for decades; dealers know the items are worth much and separate them from the sale of the car. Buyers don't think the books, tools or pouch are that important, don't see them offered with the car purchase, buy just the Dino then later find out they need these to complete the car and are amazed at the prices.
    It happened to me.

Why don't you list these in the new and free FerrariChat ads?

The ads seem to really be working well.

I have a few odds and ends. An original 1974 tool pouch with red interior. Also have original 22/19 wrench, repop 13/17 wrench, repop screwdrivers, original triangle (broken and with non-original case), plus original jack and jack bag. PM an offer if interested.

If he doesn't have it now I would even pay in advance for him to
find it. I have dealt with Alex and find him very reputable.

This is the real deal - I have seen it and I personally think dinogts, Mark, charges the lowest prices because he doesn't know what he has (has LOTS of spares)

Uhh, thanks S, I guess, but I do have a clue about what I have and what things are worth, but you keep on telling me to hang on to them for another 5 to 10 years so that I will be in a position to buy out Alex Rodriguez's Yankees contract (which by that point should be worth about $5).

I can check and see if I have your warranty book. I have mint pouch sets for 1974 in stock if you are interested. I have all years of Dino pouch sets in stock in mint condition. We will be at FCA, Automobilia Monterey, Concorso Italiano and Retro Auto so if any of you are around, come say hi!

If you are interested in a pouch set, please email me via [email protected]

    Thanks

    Cody

I have an original Dino tool kit in very good condition that came with my Daytona years ago - go figure. I am missing the 8-10mm wrench and spark plug wrench. It has the red lining on the back of the cover.

I would be interested in purchasing either of those two parts or selling for a Boxer/Late Daytona brief case tool kit. Plus minus market value. To be honest I do not know the value of either but w0uld like to complete for my Daytona. Guess I'll have to do a little research.

Well let me just ask -what is relative value of my Dino tool kit, missing the two items vs. complete Boxer/Daytona brief case tool kit?

    Thanks,

    Drew
