well todays show was good. people said not as busy as last months, but many great cars. after many people had left, a 2012 Mclaren Mp4-12C showed up. I was just moments away from getting a ride in one of my favorite cars ever. The owner took off with some other kid who was supposed to get his high school senior pictures with the car. Kinda bummed, but there are other opportunities in the future.

When did the mp4 get there? I was there from 9-10ish maybe and didnt see it.

Also, its too bad so many nice cars end up getting stuck parked on the street thanks to people parking Chevy Cruzes and the like in the lot. Wonder if the gathering is too big for its location...

+1. Lot is too small; and, at the risk of sounding elitist, is attracting too many vehicles that aren't really in the spirit of what most of us expect...time for a change.

Thanks for the input guys, I am looking into bigger lot options and if something that makes sense all the way around becomes a reality, I will post an update.

No comment on expectations of what shows up, that I have zero control. I enjoy all makes and models...

I don't check in here often at all, if somebody needs me my email is [email protected]

Was a great time -- wish it was a tad warmer thought. Really nice cars expecially for this early in the year.

    Another great turnout yesterday...

Size is limited by the venue... I'm guessing 100+ cars maybe?

Drove up in my 911 targa...

    Incredible variety

My dd: 2001 BMW 325xi wagon. I went to the velodrome for 3 hours after C&C so that was the car of choice but it's always nice to leave the "good" cars at home: I don't have to stand by my car to make sure people don't lean against it and scratch it (it's happened at Lafayette) and no one knows what cars I have so I get more unfiltered conversation from people. They think I'm just some poor dreamer in cargo shorts and a t shirt that could never possibly hope to scrape together enough rupees to buy something as special as their Cobra kit car, Aston Martin Vantage, Challenge Stradale, etc. so I get a lot of "interesting" conversation. It's all part of the fun, I suppose.

Hey, I live in Evergreen and I'm always looking for mountain people to hook up with.

Not sure if I'll make the trip to the Boulder C&C though. Highway 36 is a mess and driving up 93 can be a bit scary in a small, low 328. Maybe I should just suck it up and make the trip before the snow falls.
