Alonso Will Accept Kimi As Teammate?

With Felipe announcing this evening the whole who's next seems less like the event it should be.

Seems they would have synchronized this all. Oh well! We shall know soon.

 

Here's my over-simplified take on it, not that I know anything:

1. Red Bull is doing great, there is NO reason for Vettel to leave as long as that stays the same.

2. Ferrari has a great shot at getting the turbo RIGHT next year with their engineering team. and IF they do that, why WOULDN'T they want two former champs driving? To me that puts them one world champ up on RB.

3. Getting the new engine and etc. right next year will be the difference regardless of where the drivers end up, just my guess.

 

What if it's Hulk?

 

Would be great but I wouldn't be quite as excited as if it was Kimi...

 

I think I'd rather see Hulk. The way Kimi left the team last time gives me cause for concern. Suddenly getting beat by Massa then claims his motivation was gone now he's back? I dunno. Hopefully I'm wrong. I lost quite a bit of respect for him because of that. Alonso drove the hell out of an uncompetitive Renault for two years. Now that's a driver to me.

 

It's tiring...it's like constantly reading empty space.

Because there's no point in pursuing what seems to be a disagreement about style.

 

The one thing i can;t stand Alonso is for criticizing the team in public. MS never done that, and Fred has been doing this since his Renault days.

 

Not just engine, but aero as well.

I hope Kimi gets off to a better start than Alonso next year just for the fireworks! No way kimi signed on to be Alonso's wingman. He is still the reigning WDC for Ferrari.

I also remember kimi saying people would think he decision was dumb question which makes me think this was set a long time ago.
