It is always fun to see what everyone is shooting 14mm 2.8 Prime L 70-200 2.8 IS L II I also have a 24-105 F4, and 17-40 F4, 50mm 1.4 the 14mm 2.8 is unbelievably sharp!
That pic with the stars is wild. Hard to beat a Prime lens for sharpness. I think I will take a look at the 14mm. I have been following Darwin Wiggett who is one of the best landscape photographers and his use of Tilt Shifts. I always love sharp landscapes.

The interior shot is tjebinside lower car deck of the ferry Prinsesse Benedikte. Thats where I took the first few shots of the Mærsk ship You see a sister ship (Deutschland) in one of the pics. Not exactly a sister ship as there are some differences between tje 2 German and 2 Danish ferries. I dig out some pics later
While in Austin this week, I noticed this home near my hotel. I thought it was odd to an old pier & beam home getting built on top of like this. It just doesn't look safe. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Supercharger and modified (brandnew) exhaust system, 770 hp. Driver was very ery nice Asked him if this car didn't belong at the autobahn instead of on a dragstrip. He said that they (Kleemann) had decided to try out the "mule" at the drag strip to see how it would perfomrm. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Man, that' a great shot! I have to do more panning. A trip to the drag strip is a excellent way to practice. Do you know what that car ran?
looks quite safe as the new structure appears to be independent of the old. I'd venture a guess the old house could be removed with no issue for the new house above save needing a new source of vertical circulation from the ground to get to the new. agree with the odd part and this is not an addition I'd suggest as a design solution but safety isn't a problem there in the least.
Time was 7,687 seconds over 200 meter I think. It's difficult to do the panning when the cars are that close to you. You have to pan very fast. But if you move further away, spectators will block the view. grrrrr
My old friend came back for a visit last night... big and healthy too. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw this today at the British Car Day in Norcross Ga. Don't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing for a car......... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Few random pics from this weekend... First I went looking for an Osprey. Found it, but pics didn't turn out too good, so I shot the Heron instead. Then a duck. A friends little dog. The friend with a grass snake she caught in the water. Dog and friend.
