please take a photo from the inside to see if this distributor is for a 12 cylinder or a 6 cylinder with double ignition? also a photo from the rotor please or from the inside of the cap are there points in? if yes, how many? 2 or 4 ? I think because of less space there are no points in and also no pickups. I think this is for a 6 cylinder with double ignition. on the cap there is standing 1A to 6A and 1B to 6B AFAIK this is or was not in a F. I was working on many F but this distributor I never have seen before. any number on? could be for a lambo?

I think so too steve. the shaft and the gear looks like the same as in a jag. but until now I never have seen on a jag a marelli distributor. ok, I´m not working on many jags I also have here a jaguar V12, but this has a blue cap with only one coil and a "normal" rotor, so not a double one. sorry felix that I can not help you more. . but I´m sure that this distributor will fit in no F engine
