Drove it to a friends house on Saturday, today, it was cars and coffee, church, and a trip to the supermarket. Typical weekend for me.

Exotics @ Redmond Town Center Saturday morning. Immediately after, drive to work, then home. Sunday all rain.

Pretty light weekend driving wise. But then I've got 6000 miles already this year so I'm pretty happy.

Took my wife to church in the 308, then to lunch, discussed cars for a while with friends, then back home. Been in the best mood all week today...

I imagined getting up having my morning coffee, dressing in light comfortable driving clothes grabbing the Ferrari key chain and taking that short walk out to the garage. As the door slowly opens a grey lump awaits. Carefully I begin my unwrapping ritual and fold the cover now revealing a low profile red glowing 308 on steroids. Disconnecting the battery tender I already detect the odor of leather and fuel. Reaching in I check for neutral insert the key and turn. I am always just a little startled as the engine barks to life after the quick whirring of the starter. During warmup the windows are cleaned then the car shut down. Pop the trunk lid, ah the warmth and smells, check oil level, quick look over for anything amiss. The new look still a bit foreign to my eyes I close the lid again with ritualed practice. Wallet in door pocket, targa top stowed and covered I do my Ferrari contortionist entry into the pilots chair. Sun clip attached to glasses check, seat belt check, door shut check, turn key and .....damn I can't wait any longer this is torture.

Took mine on a beautiful drive to a U-Pick it apple orchard with my wife. Came back to the car only to realize that the rear left tire was flat, and I don't have a spare. Limped it to the nearest gas station to try to add some air and discovered that I had an almost 4" long tear where the tread meets the inside side wall. Had to get it towed home, where it currently sits on three legs, wondering what it did wrong to deserve this kind of treatment....
