  1. Sriracha FTW!!!

  2. Sambal Oelek rules!!

  3. I'm a wuss - both are too spicey for me...

  4. Where can I get these sauces & what are they good on?

Amen. I have never been a huge fan of Tabasco. It isn't the heat, just don't like the flavor. I do like their green Jalapeno based sauce. Franks or Crystal hot sauce is the type I often crave in that style. Not a fan of anything with Habanero. It is hot, but not a fan of the flavor.

I need to try Sambal Oelek as I am a fan of Sriracha. Gochujang is awesome stuff. My Korean friend uses it in lots of her dishes and I love it.

It has a nice flavor that doesn't smack you with heat and has just the right amount of acid for fish tacos.

For all you Sriracha fans, go stock up today. They have just been ordered not to ship any more product until mid-January 2014, so the only bottles for sale you'll find are those already on the shelves.

They also make a Sambal Olelek, which has also been prevented from shipping. The rationale is cloudy right now, although they were injuncted from production as a part of the ongoing civil suit with residents and the City of Industry CA.
