Just picked up a case of Spaten Oktoberfest Bier (Beer) to bring. Seemed appropriate for this time of year. Now can I work on my car wearing lederhosen?
Ahh...I take it back if you look like this the party is in Palos Verdes. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have this work on the record so far. Anyone else? Peter/Trojanfan - fluids and lights Ketel - brakes, plugs, brake fluid, hand brake and maybe those CE's. Me - I got a list of minor crap (pass side mouse motor, AC button, pass AC sensor code E1)
355RockIt - Inspect motor mounts / diagnose strange vibration felt from drivers seat. Tighten motor mounts if needed. General looksey.
I would also like to see if I can adjust the hand brake and I'm bringing some Lexol to give it a try on the leather . Anyone have any good touch up methods for small road rash? Rosso corsa.
I will be a little late but I have it on my calendar and will be there. Am also making pies for Bruce and hopefully there will be a little left over for everyone else.
After beer, pie is good. FBB you are my go to grill guy so feel free to park on the driveway. We'll make room for a 550 someplace. Bruce, you should know that waxing, washing or otherwise paying attention to the exterior condition of your car might be hazardous to my health!
Hey Vince, Am I allowed to join ? As I will be leaving my 355 at home and have a few good guys of my own to work on it anyway I will just bring the 550 and say hello...... If that's ok Craig
Its not my party but I think it would be great if Craig stopped by to share how the "pros" do things. Not that there aren't a bunch of pros going to be there already.
I use Dr ColorChip for the odd stone chip and mild paint abrasion and found it works pretty well. Readily available online and inexpensive. ketel
I got lots of empty containers for used fluids, but you take them home. Craig, you are always welcome. Please feel free to bring whatever car you like - maybe something special from the storage building... I got Dr. Colorchip in Nero for anyone wanting to spot fix a black Ferrari. I got BMW Japanese Red but that isn't going to help you.
I have Dr. ColorChip kit that I got for another car, but use Ferrai's Rossa Corsa touchup paint with the rest of the Dr. ColorChip kit for the F355. It seems to work. I'll bring it to the get-together.
Craig when you come and the conversation degenerates down to horsepower and torque we 12 cylinder guys can hang back be quiet and snicker.
Craig, If you really want something to work on, I know where there's a F355 that's in need of some electrical diagnostics...
