I wouldn't say adequate for the street. It seems to me they are more than up to the task for the street and probably fine for a track day or two so long as you respect the fact that this is still a (for the track) somewhat large and heavy car.

The power of so many cars is overkill for the street. Its all a question of where you draw the line and what makes you happy.

I personally do not see the engine nor its power overkill for the street.

I enjoy using every last ounce of it and have a suspicion that more of it is on its way!

I suspect brakes that are better for track use wouldn't be so "hot" for street use. Ditto for the engine. :)

I think Harris was just trying to be clever and needed to gripe about something.

He is a bit .. er ..."exuberant" and can be careless in what he says. I still like his reviews because I think they capture the essence of the cars.

    Typical Harris...

I was at Silverstone a few days ago for track day and there were 4 F12 tracking as well....I spoke a lot with 2 of the owners to ask what they thought and also the instructor next to them. One of their biggest praise were the brakes so not really sure how Harris believes the car can only do 4 laps! BTW the cars did 20 minutes rounds so about 6 to 7 laps each round without a problem
