I like that better than your previous effort.

Much better, I wonder how it would look with the buckets painted black? I think the look matches the rest of the car pretty well. Did you try fitting the 300zx light in there whole (outer cover and all), or is it too wide?

That's what Lamborghini did with the last couple years of the Diablo.

I'm glad everyone loves the Z32 headlights so much, I do too. ;)

Very nice work Paul, especially for a prototype. Looks very functional and obviously more aerodynamic than stock, probably brighter too. Personally I don't think it enhances the appearance of the car (except when compared to how the pop-ups look when on). It looks too busy in my opinion with the grille, the fog lights, the brake duct intakes, the Cavallino, etc. The low, flat unbroken bonnet cover is a major design component to me.

I'm not trying to offend as I think you did an amazing job of making it look stock, but even the Ferrari race versions of flush-mounts just don't look right to me. Maybe seeing it in person would change my mind. Again, top-notch work!! It's so cool to see people taking these cars a step further.

Yes the stock 300ZX lights are waaay too wide and too short from fore to aft. Another problem is the round projector lamp extends way back behind the unit. I had to chop a big chunk off to get it in, so if you really wanted it, you would need to drill a hole in the panel at the back of the headlight "box" and then worry about it maybe hitting the washer bottle in the trunk.
Almost forgot; someone asked the weight of the original headlight/motor/frame unit: 10lbs (4.5 Kg) each.

I had a privilege to drive 2013 Prius with LED headlights for approx 2 weeks, that thing was brighter than I expected, almost similar to HID output.

I wonder how it will be like to put the LED headlights, the downside is, there aren't that many to source off from as they are pretty new to the market.

I like the look of the rectangular headlights than the projectors (circular).

Anything that resembles the LM car is it. :)

Wow, they're almost as bad as me for modifications: tail end, de-straked doors... the whole bit. Interesting variation on headlights. Their version involves cutting down the strip behind the bumper which would certainly improve the illumination, but something I ain't willing to do. Surprised the black headlight buckets look that good, especially in light of the yellow body color. Good find!

yeah, I like how it copied over the F40 rear end, rounded tailights with grill.

This is the LM car design and requires cutting on the lower trim piece which none of us are want to do.
