Would someone out there in Modial Land please tell me what's the correct pressure for the 85 Mondial radiator cap. Thank you fellow Farrari lovers.
Assuming your car doesn't have Evans waterless coolant, the CAP part#101499 [101499 EXPANS TANK CAP]. See this thread http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/mondial/396125-mondial-radiator-cap-one-correct.html ...
Thank you for all the helpful responses. Not being an expert in the raditor cap arena; I read most of the info. received spoke of "bars" of pressure. the only term I know is "pounds" of pressure. Is there a difference between "bars" and "pounds" or are they equal??? Thanks again for the input. RAT
Thanks to all of you responded to my thread. The only reference to radiator cap pressure I know has been in "pounds". The majority of you who responded referred to the pressure as "BARS" i.e. barometric pressure. Since I'm only a liberal arts major are the terms synonymous? What would 9lbs. of pressure be in BARS? Thanks again for all your help. RAT
google is your friend: search convert bar to pounds, you will find Convert bar to psi - Conversion of Measurement Units
