    Anyone know a good salvage source or best aftermarket price for a 1992 512TR passenger fog lens?

    I was informed it was a discontinued part. I see a pair of reproduction lenses on ebay, but didn't know if there was a better source (better price).

    Sorry for the delayed response and thanks for the assist!

    I ended up buying a reproduction lens from a California company that makes a plastic version. I bought them as a pair, so I will have a left lens available for sale pretty soon.

    Do you have access to a full car for parts?

    No, I only bought this one (repro but good) lense, did not know the difference in USA and EU lensen then .... pitty ...

    I am interested in a driver's side lense, do you know what's the difference between US spec and EU spec?

    Left is EU foglamp, right is a USA version (plastic, very nice replica). The upper one of the two (USA) is the same side lense as the EU lense.

    Difference is the pattern is only in one part of the glass lense.

    The US version has an unclear rectangular filter that spreads/fragments the light bundle. In the EU lense that part is clear ( no stripes which block light).

    These oem foglights are extremely rare to buy and there for extremely expensive: do put an adhesive film over them to prevent cracks by stones is my advise ...

    See the little hole in pic # 3 ( 1 sq milimeter in the top/middle)?

    Then pic # 4 shows how to make the exact size on a piece of cardboard to be able to cut that form in the 3M film ...
