Yep, the last couple of years or so the french-TV reporters on the Grand Prix made some short reports on him from time to time. Rgds
You see him in the paddock at many races. Very happy and out going. I met him a couple times. Gem/jewelry designer. He is usually well adorned and decorated. He is very hard to miss. Fun to talk with!!
That's what he says he does: in the french article hereenclosed: "j'ai le privilège de payer ces voyages de ma propre poche" = translate to "I have the privilege to pay for all my travels from my own pocket". The first Grand Prix he attended was the famous 1979 french G.P at Dijon, for the Villeneuve-Arnoux battle...that's good for whetting your appetite. No way will Alonso be with Kimi in 2014. Why did Ferrari buy out Kimi's contract 3 years ago just to bring him back next year? Next season is looking worse than now.
Thank you so much for giving more information about Mr. Moko, much appreciated How did I miss him in the first place?!?
I don't know; obviously the guy has been around for a long time, but (at least here in France) suddenly last year everyone was talking about him: they were filming it before every race, etc...just like a fashion madness. The thread I gave about him four posts earlier is not even from a Formula 1 paper/magazine, but from one of the usual, mainstream, daily newspapers... Hard to understand, I should say; everyone is speaking about him these days; but probably he will be forgotten just as fast, I guess. Rgds
I vaguely remember asking around who the black man in Ferrari's pit garage is, it must had been Mr. Moko since nobody could give an answer to that. Great that it has now been cleared up
