I've had the same experience as you... but in a 355. Your post is exactly the sort of nonsense that has people crapping themselves when they're buying a 355. I would hate to think that your post makes even one person get a 348 when they really wanted a 355.

Any car can be a money pit if you buy a lemon, which is what your mate has done.

    Oh and this isn't a 348 vs 355 post - I like both :)

    Charlie,

You haven't been here long. It's always 348 vs 355.

    355s are for hair dressers.
    348s are for real men..................

like i said, didnt mean to offend. i love them both, from the eyes of a garage owner, i see 348's for regular maint. and 355's for repairs. seems like everything they added is what gives the problems. ( electronics and convenience items ). i have a friend that has just gotten sick of fixing the power top every year and now has it all disconnected and puts it down manually.just wanted to say, if you buy a 355 you may spend more on it than a 348

    As a 348SS owner, I would have no problem owning a 355 - also. :)

    Danny,

I'm glad to hear there is at least one manly hairdresser in NY. How is your 348?

The 348ts love affair is holding strong, she winks at me and blush's red when ever we meet, in the shop or in the sun, I behold her beauty and hold her dear.
She winks at me and blush's red for she pleases me.
