    Dear All
Let me share with you my strange story with Dinoparts.de
I try to be objective, short, and if anybody would like to see the mails, invoices, delivery notes, I have everything!

    2012 April
I have decided to renew my distributor (Dino 2.4) myself because as I observed the advance did not follow properly the rev, (but the engine was running anyway)

    2012 June
I have ordered the 3 lobe cam from Dinoparts. (Order ID: 7231-06032011) and the rotation cup from Superformance.

    2012 Dec 26
Due to many things, finally I could take care for my distributor in December only. When I tried to fit in the parts I have got from Dinoparts, I realised it is wrong.....absolutely wrong, having the opposite cut in than should ( pls see the attached picture)

    27 Dec 2012
I wrote a mail to Dinoparts indicating the problem and sending this picture

    29 Dec 2012
Answer from Jörg Temmesfeld with a very fair proposal:
    "Dear Mr. Botond,
sorry, that you have got problems with the delivered parts.
May I offer you a solution?
Please send your old distributor and the delivered parts.
When we have got your package,
we will refurbish your distributor to your satisfaction.....
...yes, refurbishing your distributor is free of charge for you.
We need 10 days for this job."

    2 January 2013
I have shipped the distributor and the wrong 3 lobe cam . In order to help him saving money, I also sent him the rotation cup. I attached a list of content to the parcel, listing everything I included. He promised to have it ready withing 10 days

    4 January 2013
The parcel arrived to Jörg (first he said it didn't but 2 days later I had the confirmation from the delivery company , he also confirmed)

    18 January 2013
I ( 10 wdays later) wrote a mail asking him if he is ready with my item

    21 January 2013
He answered: not yet ( 3 weeks past by!)

11 February 2013 (more than a month after they get my item)
Jörg informed me: He did the reconditioning for me, but the 3 lobe cam was not for him...even if I sent to him the invoice... so he send me back my distributor only if I pay 353,43€!!!!!
He did not called me before asking me what to do, or if I would like to do the reconditioning anyway!!!
Knowing that I did not buy 3 lobe cam from somebody else - but If I did, I would send back to that person, and not Dinoparts - I've indicated my point in mail: Even if I pay this amount I keep my right to justify my truth and my point: this item was purchased from Dinoparts!

    14 Febr 2013
    Answer by Jörg:
    Dear Botond, my offer is € 297,00 net + VAT 19% = € 353,43
    or
rebuild your distributor to its former condition.

    15 February 2013
I had nothing to do, but send the money in order to find a solution even if I did not asked him to do the re-conditioning for such a huge amount!

At this point I was hesitating if probably they sent me a wrong item by accident and perhaps they was not aware of the suppliers mistake! So they believe I try to cheat them, but this is not their fault I should not be angry on them for this!!!! BUT:

    18 February 2013
After they get my money (!)and I send the confirmation about it, Jörg wrote me a mail:
"your constant threats cause me to end our business relations with immediate effect."

I was shocked!!!! But he was shouting in the phone saying I am a cheater, and shout it down!

    24 February 2013
I wrote them a mail looking for my item and my money what I transferred for the reconditioning. But from this point, Jörg did not answered neither pick up the phone if I called him!

    28 February 2013
Finally a lady (Sabine) at Dinoparts helped me to get my money back.
Few days later I have got back my distributor also...BUT:
The 3lobe cam and the rotation cup was missing from the box!!!!!

    1 March 2013
I have contacted Sabine looking for the 2 items I missed:
Answer: This part ( 3 lobe cam) is still here, because Mr. Temmesfeld expects more trouble from your side and so we are able to proof the authenticity of this part.
???? So they said it was not from them, but they don't send it back to me!!! They keep my belongings on purpose and they don't want to give it back!
And no answer regrading the rotation cup!

In the next coming days we exchange lot of conversion about the rotation cup with Sabine, and the sum is:
Yes, they saw, I've indicated this item in the inventory list of the parcel in January, and they also saw I refer to it several times, but they don't find it at all... the 3 lobe cam they have but they don't want to send me back!!!!
So they don't send me back my 3 lobe cam, and the rot. cup they have lost.... !

    8 March 2013
I have proposed to Sabine to keep the 3 lobe cam, I don't care this issue anymore I can not build it in, but the rotation cup, cost a fortune so I need it! If they don't find it, send me a new one (would cost less for them) or send the price of it to me..... I also proposed them the check their stock level there must be +1 item, what is mine!
Sabine promised me to send me one rotation cup and close the issue:
    I said OK.

Since this point they don't pick up the phone, no answer for my mail and of course, no item from them:

    So my balance now:

Apart of the delivery cost of the items:
Rotation cup :199.5 GBP+19%VAT (purchased from Superformance)
3 lobe cam: 97,5 EUR + 19%VAT (purchased from Dinoparts)

and I put back the Distributor to my car what (as they said) they built back to the condition I had before.....and doesn't work at all....!
My lawyer try to contact them and write a mail to the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection next week.

I think I was really flexible meanwhile:
-accepting their proposals sending the distributor for free-reconditioning. (finally they ask money for that)
-accepting their price request ( finally they did not do it despite of having the money)
-accepting their huge delay ( it was 1.5 months instead of 10 days)
-accepting they have lost my rotation cup and sending me a replacement... (What finally they did not send to me)
-accepting to keep the 3 lobe cam ( even if I don't understand why the need it if they are innocent) as I can not fit it in but send me back all the other items...( they promised they will and they did not)

So I have to consider JÖRG TEMMESFELD or anybody in his team is a CHEATER and they Stealing their clients! They don't pay me back for the wrong item neither my belonings despite of the documents and facts!
If anybody questioning my story I can send him the full documentation, mails, invices, bank transfer, pictures, etc, what we also send to the Association of German consumer protection!

Be careful what do you order from them and what do you send them, never be sure you will get it back or they don't ramp you having your item and asking for more money!!!!

I am purchasing items from the net for 6-7 year and never faced with issue even with private sellers!

I hope it was useful information for all of you!

    Best regards
    Botond

My name is John from Milwaukee and have been on this forum for a number of years but mainly just lurking around with an occasional post here & there. I'm not a Ferrari owner, maybe someday I'll be able to join the ranks but I'm an enthusiast and have been lucky enough to have been in several classic Ferraris as a passenger (67 GTB/4, F40, mm) and been entrusted to drive several of my friends (355, Scud <tracked ar Road America>, 458) for which I'm so very gracious to Jim and Mike M for those oppertunities.

I do alot of HPDE's with my own car, instruct at Road America and also race a kart in a series in the Midwest with my girlfriend and her 2 brothers. Greetings all and hoping to see some of you at the FCA 50th, ALMS races and where ever else the roads meet!

Aircraft Mechanic by day and gear-head 24/7

    Cheers!
    John

Have been a member here for years but just started posting in the past year or so. I have always loved cars and dream of owning a ferrari one day. Would prefer a gated 599 or 430 as my first F car. I have worked in the car industry now for over 10 years as well selling everything from Hyundai and Mini to BMW and Porsche.

Nice 162's. I had them on my 2006 e90 330i Dinan stage 1. That was my favorite car I ever owned as well.

Lurker mainly, long time passion for Ferrari passed down from my Dad (owns a 575). Lusting after a 328 in the hopes it one day may be realistic!

    Hi All,

I have owned an Acura NSX for two years now and it has been a great vehicle for me to get involved in the automotive world. My father is primarily a corvette guy (has a C5 and a 1953) but was always interest in all sorts of automobiles, so I grew up around cars and car talk. My brother was mostly in to muscle cars, so my teenage years were spent over his shoulder as he took apart various big block cars in his never ending quest to fix some sort of problem. As for me, I mostly spent time with academics and am now only able to indulge some time and energy in to cars.

While far from a wrencher, I am eager to get involved in car repair and maintenance as I have found it a great way to see how these machines tick. Mostly though, I am enthused with expanding my driving abilities from the current status of "rookie" to something a bit stronger. This past October, I spent my first time on the track at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) and that taught me a world of new abilities. I look forward to my next time on the track.

The Ferrari brand has captured my fascination due to the styling and commitment to building performing cars, so I have started to extend my education about the various models. I have a soft spot for the 80s & 90s styling so my eye has been watching the Testarossa lineup, although the F430 is an interesting "upgrade" consideration for my NSX should the day ever come when I tire of the lovely V6 and well sorted handling of that car. Most likely though, I will consider a Ferrari as an addition rather than a replacement ;)

    Hello all,
Been browsing the forums for a while. Have to admit growing up the poster on my wall was a black Diablo (I'm 28). Starting to get more into Ferraris though. I live southeast of Des Moines. Grew up in a rural community, so being a exotic car and F1 fan makes me a bit of an oddball.
