    John Cribb (cribbj) and I are going to the Japanese GP. We're really looking forward to it as this will be our first time in Japan. We'll be in the Ferrari Paddock Club all three days.

    This was an eightieth birthday present from my wife and my Maranello Skunk Works buddy John.

    We're staying at the Nagoya Marriott if anyone would like to join us for a drink or dinner.

    What a wonderful trip, enjoy!

    The Japanese GP is a long term goal of mine as well but something I'd probably tackle once retired as the trip will be so long.

    Anxious to hear your report once you are back. Particularly on how you managed to get around given the signs in Japanese (my only worry).

    I'd think I would need at the very least 2 weeks in Japan. I want to enjoy it fully. GP for 3 days, crazy wangan (high speed highway racing), drifting at Ebisu...And then Tokyo.

    Big budget trip that is...!

    Have a great time at the race. I'm still happy to have my wife recommend some spots in Nagoya to visit if you want to stop by the shop some morning or afternoon.

    I envy you; enjoy every minute of the race and Japan :)

    Japan is an amazing place to visit. Are you staying long enough to sightsee?
